my cat Cali was sitting next to me like and i like the pose so i drew it and then outlined it in sharpie and colored in the inside ^^ oh Cali also is a kitten and is well a calico xD ^^

you may not be able to see the inside colors but meh i love the face! <3 and the chinese letter thing... was just cause xD

Very nicely done - it's a great style that really does have an Asian feel to it. I bet you'd be good at sumi-e.

That's a Japanese style of painting with long broad strokes to give the impression of the subject of the painting rather than strict detail. I do it a lot.

Well, a good watercolour set is pretty inexpensive, and the paper is cheap, too. You should put them on your Christmas list!
